Personal finance information is scattered across statements, news and price charts. This assistant brings them into one place: you can chat about uploaded documents, check market prices and see simple forecasts. The forecasts are experiments and are not investment advice.
How it works
- Upload financial documents such as statements, which are indexed so they can be searched by meaning.
- Ask questions in a chat that answers using those documents and live market data.
- Track stock and crypto prices and read current financial news.
- Generate forecasts with ARIMA and Prophet (standard time-series forecasting methods).
What I did
Kashyap Nadendla started the project and I contributed to it; my public repository is a fork of his. We also worked on a later version with a FastAPI backend.
What I learned
Forecasts are easy to generate and hard to trust, so I treat them as experiments.
