In plain English

Traditional credit scores depend on bureaus and personal records. CredBlock explores whether a wallet's public history, such as its age, activity and loan repayments, can say something about how trustworthy it is. The score is a research experiment and makes no lending decisions.

How it works

  1. Look up a wallet's public activity across several blockchains.
  2. Compute features like wallet age, transaction history, balances and loan repayments.
  3. Combine them with rule-based scoring (fixed, readable formulas) into a single score.
  4. Cache results and retry failed lookups so scores come back quickly.

What I did

I built it with a collaborator, working in Python and Web3 tooling.

What I learned

On-chain activity says something real about a wallet, and turning it into a fair score is a much harder research problem.
