In plain English
Paper Trail is a compliance workbench for know-your-business (KYB) checks. Four AI agents find the company, gather its ownership, screening hits and adverse news, compare the customer's documents with company-registry data, and write the due-diligence report. A deterministic rules engine, not the AI, sets every risk score and outcome and decides whether a case goes straight through or to a reviewer.
How it works
- The Intake agent identifies the business customer.
- The Research agent collects ownership details, screening hits and adverse news.
- The Verification agent compares the customer's documents against company-registry data.
- A deterministic rules engine sets the risk score and sends the case straight through or to a reviewer.
- The Report agent writes the due-diligence report, with a full audit trail and a governance view of agent cost, corrections and guardrails.
