In plain English

Personal records get messy: imports go wrong, notes need fixing, and the phone loses signal. Micromanager keeps original records, corrections and notes as one clean, ordered history that also works offline. It is a private app for my own daily use.

How it works

  1. Import records from files, keeping the original data exactly as it arrived.
  2. Store corrections and notes as separate entries, so the original is never overwritten.
  3. Queue changes on the device while offline.
  4. Replay queued changes in strict order once back online, setting aside any that fail their checks.

What I did

I built it solo with AI assistance, using TypeScript, React, Fastify and PostgreSQL.

What I learned

Keeping the original record and the correction as separate things means I can always fix a mistake later. Replaying history in order is what makes that safe.
